These range from scholarships, fellowships, awards, prizes and grants. External FundingFunding sourcesThe governement and private sectors provide a range of grants, tenders and funding for the University and its community in a number of key areas. GrantsThe University is able to partner with community in key areas of interest and run programs through funding provided by way of grants from private and government organisations. Awards, scholarships and fellowshipsAwards, scholarships and fellowships are avaivable to fund research activities. Internal FundingScholarships, prizes and awardsUSQ welcomes contributions, by way of scholarships, prizes and awards, from industry to assist students financially in their study and to reward students for excellence in their chosen discipline. Staff AwardsThe Vice-Chancellor has established the Awards for Community Engagement to recognise and encourage exceptional community service by staff members of the University. Phoenix AwardThe USQ Phoenix awards formally recognises students who participate in social, cultural and sporting events, undertake voluntary work and contribute their time as members of committees or organisations. The non competitive award recognises student involvement on campus and in the community. This will increase graduates employability skills and produce well rounded students. Awarding our studentsAs part of our Student Retention, Progression and Engagement strategies the Faculty of Business is recognising our high achieving students through the "Dean's Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement." |
