There are a number of funding oppurtunities for students, staff and the wider community through the university, private and government organisations.  These range from scholarships, fellowships, awards, prizes and grants.

The University is able to partner with community in key areas of interest and run programs through funding provided by way of grants from private and government organisations.

Internal Funding

Scholarships, prizes and awards

USQ welcomes contributions, by way of scholarships, prizes and awards, from industry to assist students financially in their study and to reward students for excellence in their chosen discipline.

Staff Awards

The Vice-Chancellor has established the Awards for Community Engagement to recognise and encourage exceptional community service by staff members of the University.

Phoenix Award

The USQ Phoenix awards formally recognises students who participate in social, cultural and sporting events, undertake voluntary work and contribute their time as members of committees or organisations.  The non competitive award recognises student involvement on campus and in the community. This will increase graduates employability skills and produce well rounded students.

Awarding our students

As part of our Student Retention, Progression and Engagement strategies the Faculty of Business is recognising our high achieving students through the "Dean's Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement."
