Australian Bureau of Statistics. In addition to the freely available information on the ABS web site, AusStats provides access to a vast amount of data - including tens of thousands of tables. All this information is linked together to provide easy one stop access to the ABS statistical information on the Web site. (Free access to USQ students and staff - students will need their USQConnect ID and password).

Another excellent publication from the Commonwealth Parliamentary Library. Has descriptions with links and also provides further information about the timing and content of the indicators mentioned (as well as others that are not available on the Internet).

Queensland Treasury site. Good Queensland regional statistics.
