Fraser Coast Library

USQ and the Hervey Bay City Council have established a joint use library located adjacent to the Fraser Coast campus.

Hervey Bay library catalogue - will indicate the shelf position and loan status of the Fraser Coast collection.

Borrowing from the Library

Students and staff should familiarise themselves with the borrowing information which relates to the different Library collections.

ID Cards are used by staff and students for borrowing from the Library and is required for students using the printer and photocopying facilties.

Borrowing from USQ Toowoomba Library

Students may use the intercampus requests service to request items from the Toowoomba Library.

Orientation Sessions

New students are encouraged to attend classes and tutorials which are arranged at the beginning of semester to provide students with hands-on practice at accessing online resources including the catalogue and databases.

These classes are presented in the Library Computer Laboratory.

Contacting the Library

Staff are available during opening hours to provide a wide range of library and information services to students and members of the community. Students can also use all of the options available through Ask A Librarian to obtain assistance.

Borrowing from Other Libraries

Students can borrow from other Australian University Libraries in accordance with the national reciprocal borrowing agreement.
